Nate Diaz Insists Conor McGregor Is ‘Scared For His Life,’ And Avoiding Trilogy Fight With Me

UFC superstar Nate Diaz hasn’t competed since suffering a majority decision loss to Conor McGregor at UFC 202, a defeat he vehemently contested.

Its been long 18 months have passed since his last outing inside the Octagon, and he’s shown little sign of returning to UFC Octagon.

Diaz was at music festival Coachella when questioned on Conor McGregor by TMZ. Nate Diaz went on record and said the only fight that brings him out of hiatus is a trilogy fight with former two-division champion Conor Mcgregor, who is simply “scared for his life.”

Diaz has allegedly shot down multiple fight offers, leading many to believe he has his sights set on a trilogy fight with McGregor. Diaz, who submitted McGregor on short notice at UFC 196 then fell to him by majority decision five months later.

While Conor McGregor is busy with his legal troubles, for his rampage at Barclays Center, where he attacked a bus full of UFC fighters during a UFC 223 media event. Many believe that this melee marks the beginning of the end for McGregor, who is known as one of the world’s greatest mixed martial artists and UFC fighters.

UFC president Dana White who revealed that they were set to announce McGregor’s next potential fight, but that incident put the plan on backseat now. It is not clear at the moment if he will be allowed to set foot in the octagon anytime soon.

Not long ago Dana White said, he believes there’s more chance of McGregor rematching undefeated Floyd Mayweather than having a trilogy encounter with Diaz.
