Nate Diaz vs. Anthony Pettis Early Betting Odds Released For UFC 241

Earlier this week promotion announced a highly intriguing welterweight clash between the winner of season 5 of The Ultimate Fighter Nate Diaz and former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, which takes places in the co-main event of upcoming UFC 241 PPV event on Aug. 17 from inside Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Naturally, the early betting odds surfaced about this bout, as Stockton native Diaz opens slightly underdog with a mark of +130, fans have to bet $100 to win $130 with Nate’s win meanwhile Pettis who is betting favorite at -150 mean fight fans have to bet $150 to win $100 with ‘Showtime’ win as per Bestfightodds.

Diaz 34, hasn’t fought since suffering a majority decision loss to Conor Mcgregor in a rematch back in August of 2016. Before this setback, Diaz defeated McGregor a few months prior via second-round submission. Stockton native was previously scheduled to meet Dustin Poirier at UFC 230 last year however bout scrapped off after Poirier withdrew due to injury.

Pettis returned to welterweight last month and scored a stunning second-round TKO win over former title challenger Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. Before that, “Showtime” had alternative results wins and losses at 155 pounds ever since losing a title back in 2015, which includes a recent win over Michael Chiesa and loss to former interim champion Tony Ferguson.

UFC 241 is already a pretty solid event as the main headliner bout features heavyweight title fight rematch between Daniel Cormier Stipe Miocic.
