Nate Diaz isn’t one to hold back, and his latest remarks about UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev have everyone talking. Diaz, known for his unfiltered style, recently took aim at Makhachev and his team, calling them “Ewoks” in a bold social media post.

The Feud That Won’t Die

The tension between Diaz and Makhachev has been brewing for months. It all started before UFC 310, where a backstage water bottle exchange escalated into a heated altercation between the two camps. Even though it happened weeks ago, Diaz still has plenty to say about the incident.

“[What the hell is] going on?” Diaz shared on social media, expressing disbelief over the ongoing drama. “I didn’t even know Islam was there. I don’t even know which one he is. I was just there to corner my boy, and these [Ewoks] were looking for clout. [What the f***] did I do?”

Adding to the drama, Makhachev had claimed to have met Diaz in an elevator a few months prior. However, Diaz was quick to shut down that story. “I never saw this guy in an elevator [what the f***]? I thought religious people don’t lie, [what the f***] is happening?”

Diaz Takes Aim at Makhachev and Khabib

Diaz has never hidden his dislike for Makhachev, and it’s clear that disdain extends to his training partner, Khabib Nurmagomedov. Speaking on a podcast, Diaz criticized Khabib for stepping away from the sport during what he believes was the peak of his career.

“[What the f***] happened to champ? All you had to do was say yes champ,” Diaz said, ending his fiery post with a jab aimed directly at the lightweight titleholder.

The feud between Nate Diaz and Islam Makhachev shows no signs of cooling down, leaving fans to wonder if this war of words could eventually lead to a fight in the octagon.

It’s hard to say when Diaz and Makhachev will meet again, but one thing is clear—they don’t see eye to eye.
