Nate Diaz is happy to fight anyone, anywhere, anytime.
We’ve seen the ‘Stockton Samurai’ throw hands inside the squared circle, choke people out in the Octagon, and even sleep a Logan Paul look-a-like on Bourbon Street. Now, the former UFC star is trying to pick fights with nightclub bouncers as seen in a recent video clip shared by Happy Punch on both Instagram and X.
Diaz was more than ready to throw hands in the club and even went so far as to shove the bouncer away with a palm to the face. Fortunately, patrons were quick to step in and prevent things from escalating further.
Suffice it to say, commenters online were not surprised to see Diaz involving himself in another altercation while out and about.
“Squaring up to Nate Diaz in the club gotta be top 3 worst decisions you can make.”
“Why would you ever try to fight Nate Diaz in the club?”
“Nate gunna Nate.”
“Imagine getting into a fight with an MMA star thinking that you’re going to win.”
“Can’t bring that kid anywhere.”
“Nate Diaz is undefeated in the streets why would you even try?”
However, not everyone is amused by Diaz’s tough-guy antics.
“Nate Diaz is a f*cking loser, trying to instigate and fight someone he knows is clearly no match for him, he’s lucky he’s not sleeping in jail right now, f*cking idiot,” one user wrote.”
“Too old to be getting into fights at nightclubs,” another added.
What’s Next for Nate Diaz?
Following a 15-year run inside the Octagon that saw him compete against some of the biggest names in the sport, the Stockton, California native walked away from the promotion in September 2022 determined to test his skills inside the squared circle.
Diaz fought Jake Paul in August 2023 and came up short, dropping a unanimous decision to ‘The Problem Child’ in Dallas. In July, he returned to the ring for a rematch with Jorge Masvidal five years removed from their inaugural BMF title bout at UFC 244. Diaz lost the first meeting but evened the series in Anaheim, earning a majority decision over ‘Gamebred’ in his home state.
No word on what Diaz plans to do next, whether it’s another boxing match or mixed martial arts, but the one-time lightweight title challenger has plenty of options on the table—including an eight-figure offer to run it back with Jake Paul inside the PFL Smart Cage.
