Brandon Moreno will no longer be training in Mexico.

Moving on

The former flyweight champion will be switching his training up. MMA Junkie reported on Friday that Moreno will no longer be training at his long-time gym, Entram Gym, in Tijuana, Mexico.

Moreno started training at Entram Gym at an early age and has been training there his entire career under head coach Raul Arvizu, which includes all 27 of his professional fights.

New gym?

The Mexican flyweight has been living in Las Vegas, NV, for a few years now. He does not at the moment have a home gym, although there has been a lot of speculation that he will train under James Krause at Glory MMA & Fitness in Kansas City, Missouri.

No reason has been given why Moreno has decided to leave Entram Gym, and if any of his main training partners, such as Marcelo Rojo, will go with him.

Moreno is coming off a unanimous decision title loss to Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 270. The trilogy between the Brazilian and Mexican fighter is now 1-1-1, with each fighter holding a win over the other. Both fighters say they are open to a fourth fight, and UFC president Dana White said this week that he wants to see them fight again. Time will tell.
