Mohammed Usman has booked himself a spot in the semi-finals of the 30th season of The Ultimate Fighter.

Episode 3 of TUF

Usman had his opening fight on the third episode of The Ultimate Fight this past week, and he picked up a win. He fought Mitchell Sipe, and after going the first two rounds, it was declared that they would fight a third round. Usman would pick up a unanimous decision win, which means he will go to the tournament’s next round.

It was a big and memorable win for Usman as he and his opponent Sipe had some nasty bad blood. Sipe accused Usman of ducking him on the regional scene a few years back, saying that they were scheduled to fight, but Usman pulled out of their supposed matchup. Usman denied the claim.
During their weigh-in and face-off, things got personal and heated.

Usman Brothers

Mohammed Usman is the younger yet bigger brother of UFC welterweight champion and current pound-for-pound king Kamaru Usman. Mohammed Usman went 7-1 on the regional scene before signing with the PFL. The heavyweight would lose his PFL debut to Matt Sayles via second-round submission. He wouldn’t compete anymore in the 2021 season due to injuries.

The Usman brothers are the latest siblings that have a chance to compete in the UFC. Some other siblings in the UFC are the Diaz brothers, Shevchenko sisters, Cosce brothers, and the Burns brothers.
