Modestas Bukauskas pulled UFC Paris back his way after a difficult opening round, stopping Oumar Sy by TKO at 3:57 of Round 2. The light heavyweight result followed Pavel Andrusca's upset win over Nathaniel Wood on the same card.
Sy controlled long stretches of the first round from top position and threatened to build a dominant lead. Bukauskas survived the pressure, returned fresher in the second, and hurt Sy along the fence before closing the fight with punches.

Bukauskas Takes Over After Sy Fades
The official UFC results page listed Bukauskas as the winner by TKO in Round 2. The finish came minutes after Mario Pinto stopped Ryan Spann, while Felipe Lima's decision over Morgan Charriere kept the Paris result slate moving.
Bukauskas has now won consecutive fights and added another Paris victory to his UFC run. Sy left with his first UFC defeat after a strong start gave way to Bukauskas' pressure and finishing sequence.
