MMA Fighter Knockout Himself Brought Out In Stretcher

One of the scariest MMA knockouts you’ll ever see happened at CES 48 in Rhode Island on Friday.

The interesting part here there were no punches, kicks or submissions involved, however.

On Friday night’s CES 48: Wiuff vs. Rebello event card produced a rare, and scary, moment during the penultimate fight of the night.

Tim Caron scored a knockout of Timothy Woods just 83 seconds into their bout at CES MMA 48. But it was somewhat of a hollow win for Caron, as Woods actually knocked himself out while attempting to take Caron to the canvas.

Caron hit the stunned Woods with three punches on the floor before the referee called off the bout. Caron was declared the winner via knockout.

As you can see, Woods lost consciousness after slamming his head on the ground. According to Sherdog.com, the 7-6 fighter was ultimately removed from the octagon via a stretcher, though he was responsive and moving his extremities.

Let’s hope Timothy Woods makes a speedy recovery.
