Mike Perry recently made an appearance on Russian TV, and it resulted in an unexpected physical altercation.
Mike Perry Gets Physical On Russian TV
Recently, Perry, who isn’t currently slated to fight anyone as of this writing, was in Russia to support his friend and training partner, Alex Nicholson.
Nicholson will face off against Vagab Vagabov, and the teams are doing press in Russia to promote the fight. Somehow, this resulted in a group of fighters, including Perry, making appearances on Russian TV.
For some random reason, the TV station decided to have Perry face off with Russian fighter Magomed Ismailov. Again, the two men are not scheduled to fight.
While the faceoff appeared to be all in good fun at first, things quickly got serious, with both men taking legitimate swings at one another.
The officials nearby had to step in and break things up. Even after the pair were separated, the two exchanged words across the room.

Perry is a former UFC veteran who established himself as a big fan favorite inside the Octagon. After departing the promotion in 2021, he opted to sign with Bare-Knuckle FC.
In bare-knuckle boxing, Perry is undefeated at 2-0, his most recent win coming over Bellator star Michael “Venom” Page at BKFC London in August.
“I almost got jumped in there,” Mike Perry said on Instagram Stories. “Luckily, people was breaking it up. But in Russia if you call someone a motherf*****, they think you’re talking about someone’s mom so then the whole team coming to get you. But in America when you say motherf***** it’s like normal words. It’s normal. I’m not talking about your mama, chill bro.”
Given their latest developments, it will be interesting to see if Perry finds a way to fight Ismailov next.
