Miesha Tate Trashed Edmond Tarverdyan On Ronda Rousey Fight With Cris Cyborg

Women’s bantamweight Miesha Tate’s and Ronda Rousey’s intense rivalry holds a well-known place in the MMA history. It’s been more than three years since Ronda and Tate last fought.

Miesha Tate said It would be a bully if cyborg takes that fight. Tate has no interest that Ronda, her bitter rival face Cyborg.

Earlier on the show, Ronda’s coach Tarverdyan said he had one dream matchup left for Ronda Rousey, his star pupil. He wants to see her come back but want one last fight against Cris Cyborg.

“I don’t know. We’ll live, and we’ll see. If injuries weren’t there and everything was where it was, we would take that fight, and I’m telling you she’s too slow for us. Ronda will beat her. Ronda needs a challenge that she really needs to be like this person is no good and I need to prove something to the world. That’s how Ronda works well. And she didn’t have that with Holly Holm. She’s the one that pushed and wanted some aggressiveness before the weigh-ins. This one she has it. She said she cheated before, she’s hurt women, and she wants to come back and beat her.”

Coach Tarverdyan said earlier that his situation with the IRS is cleared up. And he was authentically bona fide, that motivated and healthy Rousey would knock off Cyborg. Those two women have also had an intense rivalry over the years, though they never fought.

Tate believes that Ronda is finished in MMA career and certainly has no business being in the octagon. “It’s nonsense to even think about that. That’s ridiculous; I can’t believe Edmond would suggest something so asinine.”

“With that being said, we are all at different stages of our career and life. Cyborg’s still fighting, and I firmly believes Ronda will not fight again. She’s had been very absent from MMA career. She doesn’t even want people asking about her MMA career. You’ve got to wonder. She recently got married and everything. I think she got a good deal with the WWE. She’s probably going to want to start a family. I don’t see her coming back.”

Tate is retired now, said she thinks the whole thing is “not realistic and not a “real topic of discussion.” It’s kind of like the Conor vs. GSP thing. She firmly determined and believes Rousey will not fight again.
