We already know Mickey Gall is a better mixed martial artist than CM Punk, but after this tweet he may be a better pro wrestling heel than the second city savior. For a dude in his early 20s Gall not only knows how to talk shit, he also has the forethought to write his own storylines. Only Mickey Gall knows how long he’s been plotting against Sage Northcutt but with only two weeks of seasoning it’s already one of the top three best UFC storylines going today.
Gall began the search to snatch Sage’s soul roughly 90 seconds after he destroyed CM Punk in about 90 seconds at UFC 203. Moments after the biggest win of his life, Gall cut the promo of his life when he ran down Northcutt, yelled a lot, grabbed the mic from Joe Rogan and dropped enough profanity bombs to cause Sage’s dad to yell “earmuffs” at him.
On Monday Northcutt went on the MMA Hour to spout off the only trash talk he knows how to; and it was was #cute, #lovable and #veryadorable. Yes, Northcutt really does refer to Ariel Helwani as Mr. Helwani.
