Michael McDonald really likes food. He likes it so much that when he was asked this week if he was excited about fighting a big name like Miguel Torres he answered with: “honestly I’m most excited about food.” He said he was anticipating eating after weigh-ins more than his fight with Miguel Torres. I don’t know if he didn’t get a chance to eat last night after he weighed in but he sure seemed like he was in a big hurry to finish his fight with Miguel and put some food in his belly. At 3:18 in the first round McDonald’s empty tummy must have gotten the best of him as he decided enough was enough and finished Miguel off with a flurry of punches. When Joe Rogan asked him how he felt, he just replied he was ready to go eat pizza and ice cream. Micheal McDonald just knocked out Miguel Torres- one of the best bantamweights on the planet- and he doesn’t even care. All he can think about is going to Pizza Hut. That’s gangster.
