Michael Johnson just dominated Joe Lauzon in Boston. Seriously dominated.

I blame the impending release of the Xbox One and the PS4 for Joe Lauzon’s loss. That and the absolutely incredible performance by Michael Johnson tonight. You would think that being August, Lauzon would be unaffected by the sweet next-gen hardware, and the new Call of Duty game, but I could be wrong, which means we don’t really have any reason (yet) why Joe Lauzon looked so damn lethargic in Boston tonight.

A judge gave it 30-25 – Johnson. That’s pretty much sums up the fight.

Michael Johnson stuck and moved, landed 4-hit c-c-c-ombos like he was Jago from Killer Instinct, while Lauzon struggled to respond. So no FOTN for Joe, after winning 12 bonuses in his 15 UFC fights, which for all we know, he was banking on in the back of his head so he could buy the Xbox One and PS4 this November. He probably still will.

Massive props to Michael Johnson for an absolutely dominating Octagon performance. Don’t let those boos get you down, you did awesome.
