Michael Chiesa Dominates Diego Sanchez, Wins Via Unanimous Decision!
UFC 239 PPV (pay-per-view) event is taking place live now (Saturday, July 6, 2019) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Welterweight match between Gaidojutsu/BJJ black belt and TUF 1 185-pound king Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez and TUF 15 Lightweight winner Michael “The Maverick” Chiesa kicks off the main card. Our referee is Mark Smith. Here we go!
Round 1
Chiesa has a reach advantage. Sanchez took Chiesa down almost instantly. Chiesa sweeps. Both fighters up, Judo throw Chiesa, Diego gets up. Sanchez presses Chiesa against the fence. Michael takes him down again.

Wow, Sanchez’s head is swollen! Chiesa takes Sanchez down, good elbow. Diego eats nasty shots on the ground, great punches by Michael. Sanchez gets up. Big right hook, uppercut, and knee Chiesa. Sanchez is on his back.
Chiesa pounds his opponent from the top. Awesome ground game, now Chiesa fights him off the top, this is a brutal barrage, there were at least ten big blows! Another rear-naked choke attempt, Sanchez defends and gets up. Another great transition Chiesa. Kimura attempt Chiesa, Sanchez defends. 10-9 Chiesa.
Round 3
Chiesa takes him down, despite he ate a punch. A few sweeps on both sides. Sanchez gets up again, great move.
Chiesa takes him down again, controls rival’s back. Reverse triangle attempt, Diego slips away. Sanchez gets up but he is pressed against the fence. Chiesa pulls Sanchez to the canvas again, controls his back, lands punches.
Big elbows. Chiesa secures body triangle, he has left arm behind Sanchez’s neck. 10-9 Chiesa.
