Wow. Everyone watching Spike TV just learned the name Michael Chandler. The MMA world knows him, and we know that a Michael Chandler takedown is about as easy to defend as an Ubereem knee, but Michael Chandler is only a man, right? Maybe. The United Nations may have to pay him a visit and declare him a rogue missile homing in on any fighter who even gets near his golden Bellator lightweight belt. He burst through the air tonight, taking down Judo Olympian Rick Hawn with absolute ease. He rained fire down upon Rick Hawn’s shiny skull, and in the second round, as Hawn attempted to escape Chandler’s clamps, Chandler threw him back to the ground, wrapped his arms around Hawn’s neck and forced him to tap. Total domination.
Chandler is the ******* real deal. 11-0, 9 finishes and awaiting the next guy for him to beat up.
