Micheal Bisping and Anthony Smith teamed up in roasting Conor McGregor over his appearance at the Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois fight and constantly teasing about what he’s gonna do next.

Conor looked like a douchebag

Speaking on their Believe You Me podcast, “The Count” and “Lionheart” agreed that “Notorious” thought he looked cool at the Joshua-Dubois fight but for them, McGregor struck them as a “douchebag.”

“Conor, you would have thought that he was a big Daniel Dubois fan because when Joshua was getting those [punches], he was out of his seat. Maybe the cigar might have even got lit. Walking in with a big cigar, unlit, between the teeth. How do we feel about that? Because two words spring to mind right now: Douche. Bag,” Bisping said.

“I don’t know what happens to people or when you change or how much money you have to have to start doing weird, douchy sh8t like that. Like, how rich do you have to be to wear your sunglasses inside 24/7. For what? I wish I was five percent as cool as he thinks he is. Like, how do you get to be so cool? I don’t know, I don’t get it. And I don’t want to just talk shit on Conor, but come on, bro,” Smith added.

Bisping and Smith are tired of Conor’s talking

The pair went on and discussed another topic about McGregor. Smith began by telling Bisping that he has been “sick” of hearing and talking about the flamboyant UFC superstar because nothing is really happening.

Bisping then echoed the same sentiment and admitted that even though he is quite sure McGregor will return soon, he’s no longer too excited about it as they have tackled the same storyline over and over in the past.

“I’m sick of talking about Conor until he does something. Like, fight or don’t,” Smith exclaimed.

“We can’t keep having the same discussion every five minutes… It’s like, ok, he’s coming back, great, when? I think he will fight but until that time comes I’m not going to be jumping up and down going ‘He’s back’ every time he tweets, and he’s talking about bare-knuckle now,” Bisping responded.

“As soon as I heard he wants to test free agency, I immediately thought, ‘OK, this is going to be the most drawn-out god**n process in the world. The UFC’s going to do what they can to make sure that doesn’t happen and he’s going to try to do it and they’re going to go back and forth and it’s going to be this boppity boppity boppity boppity, just like Jon Jones and the UFC, it took three f**king years. OK, cool. Hit me up in, like, 2029. Let me know when this is happening, because I’d love to talk about it. If it’s actually going to happen,” Smith added.

“Listen, bare-knuckle great, go for it. Two fights in the UFC, can’t wait for it, I really can’t, awesome. I can’t get excited about it because we’ve been here,” Bisping concluded.

As it stands, McGregor said fans can expect his UFC return in 2025. Moreover, he might compete in bare-knuckle as BKFC has a lot in store for the fans with their partnership with DAZN.

Though nothing is concrete yet at this point, BKFC president David Feldman is confident “Notorious” is “100%” making his BKFC debut in no time.
