- Merab Dvalishvili was filmed confronting a heckling fan in the crowd at the Craig Jones Invitational
- “The Machine” didn’t hurt the fan but pulled his hair a bit
Merab Dvalishvili charged at a heckling fan while at the Craig Jones Invitational this past Friday.
Merab wasn’t in the mood
A month from now, “The Machine” will be looking to dethrone UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley at UFC 306. While gearing up for his title fight, Dvalishvili attended the Craig Jones Invitational in Las Vegas.
Dvalishvili was at the VIP section when he noticed a heckler from the crowd. Moments later, “The Machine” was jumping over the fences to confront the random fan. In a video clip, the guy could be seen trying to avoid trouble by waving his hand as Dvalishvili rushed to him.
Dvalishvili then came inch-close to the heckler and decided to just pull his hair a bit to teach him a lesson.

The biggest fight of Merab’s career
Despite the incident with a heckler, Dvalishvili remains laser-focused on his upcoming showdown with O’Malley. The pair already crossed paths and engaged in a heated exchange during UFC 306 promo last month.
Dvalishvili earned his title shot after going unbeaten in 10 consecutive fights. Even before being booked, “The Machine” was already vowing to shorten O’Malley’s reign and become the new bantamweight champ.
On the other hand, “Suga” will try and defend his bantamweight strap for the second time. As it stands, O’Malley already has one successful title defense after securing a unanimous decision win over Marlon Vera at UFC 299.
