What’s this $375 million settlement about?

Over 1,200 UFC fighters who competed between 2010 and 2017 are eligible for a share of $375 million. This payout comes from a decade-long lawsuit claiming the UFC acted as a monopsony—essentially the only game in town for MMA talent—driving down fighter pay. Facing a potential $4 billion-plus loss in court, the UFC settled instead.

Who’s eligible, and how much could they get?

Around 1,200 fighters qualify, with over 800 set to receive at least $50,000 each. For many retired fighters, especially those with health issues from years in the cage, this could be a lifeline.

Why haven’t over 400 fighters claimed their money yet?

More than a third of eligible fighters—including stars like Conor McGregor, Brock Lesnar, and Alexander Volkanovski—haven’t registered. Reasons vary: some might not know, others might not care (McGregor called it “a handy twenty,” despite potentially millions owed).

How do fighters claim their share?

It’s simple: visit UFCClassAction.com and fill out a quick registration form. Once Judge Boulware approves the settlement, claim forms will ship within 60 days. Fighters then have 45 days to submit them—or lose out.

What happens if they miss the deadline?

Unclaimed funds won’t sit around. They’ll be split among the fighters who did register, leaving latecomers with nothing.

Who’s on the “still unregistered” list?

The plaintiffs released a list of 400+ fighters, tagged with Sherdog IDs for clarity. Notable names include:

  • Conor McGregor (29688) – Could claim millions.
  • Brock Lesnar (17522) – Yet to sign up.
  • Ronda Rousey (73073) – Missing out so far.
  • B.J. Penn (1307) – Unregistered.
  • Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (1440) – Not claimed (unlike his brother Rogerio).
