Mazakazu Imanari, the man so deadly with his submissions, more specifically his leg lock submissions, has had an impact on the MMA world that many may not realize. While the leg lock was around before him, Imanari popularized the usage of this hold in the MMA world. Note I did not say invented it as that fact needs to be very clear.
