Replay: Mayhem Miller Loses Venator Debut and Says He’s Not Done in Post-Fight Interview

At Venator FC, Jason “Mayhem” Miller put his return in the danger zone by coming in 24lbs overweight and thus creating his own weight class: Mayhemweight. The world seemed not ready for the new division, so Venator humbly offered Miller a fight at Light Heavyweight with Mattia Schiavolin so he could stay on the card.

Thankfully for Frank Merenda, Miller was able to come back in vintage “Mayhem” fashion with another wild walkout he’s become known for. There was dancing, there was girls there was “Crazy Mayhem Sway Face”.

Somewhat ironically, both of Venator’s most talked about signings fell victim to defeat. Not only did Palhares get absolutely obliterated by Viking elbows, but Miller suffered the same fate. After Miller squeezed out the first round with a late takedown, Schiavolin saw an opening in the second and capitalized on it in dramatic fashion submitting Miller.

In a post-fight interview with Wojciech Mrozowski via Polish MMA media outlet MMANews.pl, Miller was all class and vows that this is just the beginning of a resurgence.
