Throw out the records. Forget the title belts. Doesn’t matter if this fight takes place in the Octagon or the streets it’s a super-fight. If Max and Tony met up on a Hawaiian beach, it would be a super-fight.
Pick any So Cal side street, if Tony and Max square up there it’s a super-fight.
UFC 236 is only two months away and it needs a main event. Holloway versus Ferguson would be that and more. We have no idea how these affects the featherweight or lightweight standings, but we don’t care. Max versus Tony is now out in the universe and it’s all we want to see.

Whatever it takes to get Max Holloway to move up in weight and dual with Tony Ferguson for five rounds, we’ll take that path.
