UFC 145-Pound Champ Max Holloway Wants To Meet Welterweight Contender Stephen Thompson For The “Nicest Motherf**ker” Championship
The “baddest motherf**ker title match” between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz triggered many interesting reactions and very creative ideas. The BMF belt is up for grabs at UFC 244.
Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson, who meets Vicente Luque at UFC 244, said he’d like to fight for “The Nicest Guy In MMA” title. Yet, Max Holloway, the UFC featherweight champion of the world, stepped in and jokingly responded that he’d like to square off against welterweight Karateka for “the nicest mother**ker” championship. It led to fun back and forth between the two.
No no I insist. The honor is all mine. @danawhite @ufc I'd like to open the cage door for this gentleman at #UFC244 https://t.co/FEp3WYk16T

Max Holloway is set to defend his strap against Alexander Volkanovski. Before him, Holloway defeated two very dangerous names – Frankie Edgar and Brian Ortega (doctor stopped the contest at the end of the fourth round). This will probably be Holloway’s most difficult title defense, as Volkanovski outworked the former champion Jose Aldo in Brazil!
How does Max’s idea sound to you? NMF belt? Well, they can meet at 155, if “Wonderboy” is willing to cut more weight!
