Matthieu Duclos gave the French crowd another early finish at UFC Paris, knocking out Luis Felipe Dias in the first round at Accor Arena. The middleweight result arrived during the preliminary card before Dan Hooker and Salahdine Parnasse closed the event.
The official UFC account shared the finishing sequence below.
UFC listed the result as a knockout at 4:35 of round one. Duclos entered at 10-3 and moved to 11-3 with the win, while Dias fell from 18-5 to 18-6 after being stopped in his second UFC appearance.
The fight was competitive through the opening minutes, with both middleweights finding room to throw in the pocket. Dias tried to step in behind longer shots late in the round, but Duclos gave ground, lined up the counter, and landed the left hand that put him down.
Duclos Makes His First UFC Walk Count
The finish continued Duclos’ recent run after his appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series. It also made him the second French debutant to score an early UFC Paris finish on the same preliminary card.
UFC France posted another direct clip from the same result.
The win adds to a Paris slate that also features Punahele Soriano against Daniil Donchenko and Ryan Spann against Mario Pinto. Duclos did not need a long debut to make his case, turning one clean counter into an official first-round knockout.
