Matt Mitrione pulls off the world's first KO by hipbone at UFC on Fuel TV 9

If Matt Mitrione wrote this article, there would be absolutely no spaces. It would go something like this: WowthatwasagreatKOalthoughwe’renotsurehowhepulleditoffbecausehedidn’treallyhithim. Meathead wouldn’t talk about himself in third person, however. In fact, I would edit that previous sentence if it wasn’t such an eye sore.

How funny would it be if in his post-fight interview, Mitrione claimed that at the Blackzilians gym they train for the hip bone knockout all the time? I guess that little morsel of comedy would have been lost in Meathead’s run-on sentence. Regardless of the method in which Meathead won today at UFC on Fuel TV 9, the dude still scored a 19-second KO — which has to be one of the fastest knockouts we’ve seen in the heavyweight division. From Kimbo Killer to Hip Bone Slayer, we’re digging the evolution of Matt Mitrione. Props to @FightSummary for the .gif
