The war of words isn’t over between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz.
The rivals first fought at UFC 244 back in November 2019. Masvidal was able to outpoint Diaz before an anticlimactic ending came in the form of a doctor stoppage. ‘Gamebred’ would be declared the winner, but it would not settle the score between the two.
Years after the loss, the Stockton slugger still talks a big game. That wouldn’t sit well with Masvidal, who talked about him during a Rumble Q&A.
“That motherf*cker doesn’t want it, man,” Masvidal said of Diaz. “I almost damn near killed him, I beat him an inch within his f**king skinny life.
“You saw his last fight with Leon, I was like, man, they make that mistake and put this guy in there with me again, you know? He’s not trying to fight.”
While Masvidal doesn’t think Diaz is eager to enter the cage with him, he believes there is potential for a rematch from the way Diaz has been talking.
“That little f*cking broomstick keeps talking,” Masvidal added. “You’re going to have to go at some point. [If] I take Colby’s a** out, if I gotta wait for Usman, it could be you that gets this ass whooping, bro… Let’s f**king go, man, I’m gonna break your fu**ing face, bro.”
Diaz would seemingly respond to Masvidal below:
“If it was real real it wouldn’t take place in the cage quit playin.”

Jorge Masvidal will have to first get through another rival in Colby Covington first. This grudge match will take place at UFC 272 on March 5th.
