- Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal reportedly got involved in an altercation in Miami
- Masvidal’s manager said he was told Covington lost a tooth
- “Gambred” issued a challenge to “Chaos” after the encounter
The feud between UFC welterweight contenders Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal did not end inside the Octagon at UFC 272, where Covington dominated Masvidal. In fact, the pair appears to be eager to give it another go as they reportedly got involved in an altercation outside ‘Papi Steak’ restaurant in Miami Beach.
How did Jorge know where Colby was?
At the moment, it appears that no one in the vicinity was able to capture what really went down between Covington and Masvidal. However, TMZ uploaded a video where “Chaos” could be seen talking to Bob Menery, a member of social media influencers, “The Nelk Boys.”
In the video, police was already in the scene and Covington could be heard asking Menery, “how would he know I’m here?,” referring to Masvidal. This would be a result of The Nelk Boys posting their location on Instagram stories, where they were seen eating at the restaurant with Covington.

Covington lost a tooth?
Shortly after the reported Covington-Masvidal altercation, Masvidal’s manager Malki Kawa dropped some huge hint at what had just happened on social media. According to Kawa, he was told that “Chaos” is now missing a tooth, suggesting that “Gamebred” was the one who caused it.
“I’m hearing that a someone not from miami who says he’s the king of it is missing a tooth,” Kawa tweeted. “Can someone confirm this? I need the video asap.”

Masvidal challenges Covington to show his face
Just a few minutes after Kawa’s tweet, Masvidal posted a video on his official Twitter account which appears to address the altercation. In the video, he challenged Covington to reveal the current condition of his face, suggesting that he has done something to it.
“I Call this the show your face challenge,” Masvidal said. “What’s up, I’m from Dade county. You talk that s*** you’ve got to back it up. That’s how my city rolls.”
Being the outspoken person he is, Covington is also expected to comment about the matter sooner rather than later. Until then, it is safe to say that Masvidal has got the better of his UFC rival in the alleged altercation.
