Mark Zuckerberg, the Meta CEO, really likes mixed martial arts. He’s been training hard and now he’s practicing with Max Holloway, a big name in UFC. Recently, they spent some time together inside the cage, working on their skills.

Mark Zuckerberg Trains with UFC Star Max Holloway

Zuckerberg’s love for MMA started when people began talking about him fighting Elon Musk, but that fight never happened. Even so, Zuckerberg didn’t stop training. This time, he’s training with Max Holloway, who is known as the BMF champion in UFC. Max first became famous when he beat José Aldo in 2017 to win the UFC Featherweight Championship. He defended it three times before losing to Alexander Volkanovski in 2019. Even though Max had some tough losses, he is still one of the best fighters in UFC.

Max’s most recent win came when he knocked out Justin Gaethje at UFC 300 to win the BMF belt. Now, Max is moving up to lightweight full-time, and he’s working hard in the gym to get ready for his next fight. After his first knockout loss to Ilia Topuria in October, Max is training even harder.

Zuckerberg isn’t just training with Max though. He also brought in big UFC stars like Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski for some tough training last year. Adesanya called it “serious business,” showing how hard they worked together.

It looks like Zuckerberg might also play a bigger role with the UFC soon. UFC president Dana White has asked Zuckerberg to help with the UFC rankings. After Jon Jones couldn’t get back to the top of the rankings, White reached out to Zuckerberg to bring in an AI tool to help with the rankings instead of the people who usually do it. This could mean that Zuckerberg is going to be even more involved with UFC in the future.

Zuckerberg really loves MMA, and he’s not just training to be a better fighter. He could help change the way UFC works. Whether it’s in the gym or with the rankings, Zuckerberg is showing that his passion for MMA is here to stay.
