Mark Hunt is a fan of Twilight. To call Mark Hunt anything other than a legend would be selling the 300lber short. Dude shocked the world in December 8, 2001 where he defeated Jerome Le Banner via second round KO, grabbed the W of Stefan Leko and eventually beat Francisco Filho to win the 2001 K-1 World Grand Prix. After his win, Pride threw him in the MMA world where he scored wins over Mirko Cro Cop and Wanderlei Silva. Mark Hunt is also known for giving Fedor one of his toughest fights in his career. In an interview we did with Mark Hunt, he admitted that he was currently at the bottom of his career. That just may change with one jaw-dropping match-up announced for UFC 119.
5ozofPain broke the news that UG legend, Sean McCorkle has been matched up with Mark Hunt at UFC 119 in Indianapolis. McCorkle is 7-0, has ran mid-west MMA for nearly five years and generally fights as a super heavyweight. McCorkle trains with Matt Mitrione and prior to UFC 113, Sean predicted the destruction of Kimbo Slice by Meathead which granted him the moniker of ‘McOracle’. Props to both of these fighters for getting a chance to slap gloves on the largest stage in MMA but a huge ‘LOL’ goes to anyone that truly believes these guys can cut to 265lbs. Now does anyone have the $97 to shell out on Mark Hunt’s blog subscription? [Source]
