Mark Coleman Was Sexually Harassed By Ohio State Doctor!
The former Pride and UFC champion, Mark Coleman, opened up about a dark secret from his early days of fighting. The first fighter who outwrestled Dan Severn claims now-deceased Ohio State doctor victimized him sexually! There are more than 100 former students who accused Dr. Richard Strauss of sexual harassment.
Mark Coleman talked about that on Thursday. He even implemented Republican congressman Jim Jordan as a person who was keeping the secret. Read Coleman’s statement from The Wall Street Journal.
“There’s no way unless he’s got dementia or something that he’s got no recollection of what was going on at Ohio State,” Coleman said. “I have nothing but respect for this man. I love this man. But he knew as far as I’m concerned.”
Yet, Mark Coleman quickly gave a different tone to his accusations versus Jim Jordan. Here is what he told CNN.
“Maybe I spoke without thinking,” Coleman said. “This has absorbed my life. Since I’ve said that, it’s consumed me 24 hours a day, and I didn’t like the way it was heading, the direction it was heading.”
“I was angry and said words that I shouldn’t have said,” Coleman said. “He may have known about some locker room banter because we did joke about it in the locker room, but I don’t know of anyone ever reporting it to Jim Jordan directly.”
“I’m clarifying (the earlier statement) because it’s been on my mind for a long time and I feel guilty that this happened, and I wanted to clarify it,” he said. “Not change it. I said what I said.”
Unfortunately, politicians are usually too powerful in many countries. If such an influential man was covering his back, he could do whatever he wanted to. Jim Jordan attacked CNN on Twitter, claiming they want to put some dirt on his name for a different reason.

Despite this is one of the bravest moves Mark Coleman did, he shouldn’t wait for the doctor’s death. The scars and traumas remain forever. Sexual predators belong in prison. Common, 21st century is not the place where such an animal can walk freely. Exposing them in public might bring more chances of defending.
And you need to wonder – why such a strong man like Mark Coleman didn’t slam that twisted psychopath of the table? He was lifting a lot heavier opponents than him.
