“There have been a lot of questions and comments lately. ‘Mariusz, what’s next for sports? What’s next for your MMA career?’ I see that some experts already know the answer better than me. Don’t worry, I’m not lacking work. And I’m still having fun with sports, just as I used to. I have to go to training, and I haven’t hung up my gloves yet, so nothing is known yet. So don’t worry. I haven’t said my last word yet. I’m still eager, I’m training, I’m working.”
The loss to Hall sparked speculation that Pudzianowski, at 48, might retire.
Mariusz Pudzianowski, 48, is from Biała Rawska, Poland, and won the World’s Strongest Man title five times between 2002 and 2008. He turned pro in strongman in 1999 and set records in events like the truck pull. He began his MMA career in 2009 with KSW, Poland’s top MMA promotion, known for his power and durability. His notable wins include knockouts over Sean McCorkle in 2011 and James Thompson in 2015. He faced setbacks, including a submission loss to Tim Sylvia in 2010 and the TKO loss to Hall in April 2025.
