Marius Zaromskis vs. Cyborg Santos will probably be fight of the year

Melvin Manhoef vs. Evangelista Santos is hands down the greatest, dirtiest and sloppiest slugfest in MMA history. Anyone who denies that is just lying to their inner-child that loves to see brain cells leak out of someone’s nose. It’s like these dudes met back in 5th grade and Melvin said ‘Look man, screw you for stealing my last Lunchable. Don’t worry, 15 years from now all debts, grudges, smack-talk, BS and stolen property will be settled on February 4th 2006 in London, England…and you better replace your chin with a solid piece of adamantium‘. The bout ended with both fighters being pulled off each other by officials. After the fight was over, Cyborg managed to mount Melvin and deliver a few body shots but both fighters were so exhausted they didn’t remember the end of the fight. It all took place in the now defunct ‘Cage Rage’ (although ProElite insists they are bringing the promotion back to England by the end of 2010) and since you probably haven’t seen it before, here you go.

MMAFighting broke the news that a Evangelista Cyborg Santos is scheduled to throw with the Whitemare himself, Marius Zaromskis, at Strikeforce Los Angeles next month. Before Zaromskis’ lost to Nick Diaz at Strikeforce Evolution, dude was literally high-kicking his way through the Dream Welterweight GP while simultaneously giving a shout-out to Akuma from Street Fighter. The only way this fight is going to the ground is if someone’s head unintentionally lands on the mat via shin bone. I would give Richard Chou a pat on the back for making this match possible if it weren’t for the fact that his current geographical location is in some hotel lobby in St. Louis, Missouri reading this article.
