Marius Zaromskis didn't win tonight in Bellator, but he did pull off this gravity-defying backflip

Tonight at Bellator 86, Marius Zaromskis did exactly what any fighter would do when they’re down two rounds in a three-round fight: gaze in the face of their opponent and pull off a jumping back-flip with the intention of making everyone’s head explode from a fatal amount of WTFness. Sure Zaromskis lost unanimously in his welterweight tournament quarterfinal bout against Brent Weedman. He even managed to pull off a couple knees aimed directly at Weedman’s head when he was clearly on the ground. However, if MMA bouts were decided on the amount of confusion incited in the crowd — Zaromskis would be awarded a friggin’ championship belt tonight.

If you missed it when it happened, check out the backflip seen around the world (actually, just at Spike.com). Also, LOL at Zaromskis trying to crawl away when he came to the realization that jumping in Brent Weedman’s guard isn’t the greatest idea. As always, props to Zombie Prophet for the .gif.
