Manager: Its No Secret Brock Lesnar Eyeballing Another Fight In UFC

For months, speculation has been run rampant that the former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar will lace up his gloves again and return to MMA. And the South Dakota native added more fuel to the already raging fire last month after seen posing for pictures with UFC president Dana White.

Lesnar’s current WWE contract expires in April after WrestleMania 34. His plans – sign a deal with WWE or return to the UFC — are not clear at this time.

Lesnar’s manager Paul Heyman recently hinted that we could very well see former champ back inside the Octagon, during his conversation with Newsweek: (Quote Via MMAMania)

“I don’t think it’s any secret that Brock is looking to get back into the Octagon. He is obviously eyeballing another fight in UFC. There’s no secret. He’s posing for pictures with Dana White wearing a UFC shirt in the UFC offices in Las Vegas. That’s not a negotiating tactic, Brock Lesnar wants to compete inside of the Octagon. There’s no leveraging that; it’s a fact. Now, when will it take place, against who and where? These are just details. The big question has always been ‘are you willing to do this?’ And it’s pretty apparent that Brock Lesnar is.”

If Lesnar does return to MMA, he would have to complete his USADA suspension before competing.

Lesnar hasn’t fought since his UFC 200 showdown with Mark Hunt, which he won via unanimous decision.

Unfortunately, the win was overturned to a no contest following the revelation that he’d failed drug tests before and after the UFC 200 card.
