There’s no love lost between Paulie Malignaggi and Conor McGregor.
The Beef
Some time has passed since they’ve talked trash to each other. The fighters’ beef would start back in 2017, where they clashed in a sparring session ahead of McGregor’s boxing match with Floyd Mayweather.
Malignaggi would deny that ‘The Notorious’ got the better of him in training after some pictures got out of him being on the floor. Following that, sparring footage showed McGregor dropping the boxer twice. Malignaggi would claim he was pushed down, instead of him being dropped.
Of course, there’s been bad blood ever since.
‘Light Work’
The bad blood would boil once again, years later. Malignaggi would agree with influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul, when he called McGregor’s boxing form ’embarrassing.’
“I agree with Jake. Connor is light work,” Malignaggi wrote on Twitter. “He ain’t s**t.”

McGregor Replies
This wouldn’t go unnoticed by Paulie’s old rival. McGregor would take some time to respond, just like he did to Jake Paul. The UFC superstar brought receipts in his response, showing off what he did to Malignaggi all those years ago.
“I left you like a little seesaw,” McGregor replied, using a photo of where he dropped Malignaggi in sparring.

That he did, if you look at Malignaggi’s stance on the floor. That’s creative one by Conor to say the least.
To this day, Malignaggi believes that this was still a pushdown, instead of a knockdown. It doesn’t look like the pro boxer is going to change his mind on that anytime soon.
