Makhmud Muradov ended Will Fleury’s two-belt OKTAGON run with one counter right hand and a short follow-up barrage at OKTAGON 92.
Muradov knocked out Fleury just 15 seconds into Round 2 on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, at Central Tennis Court Stvanice in Prague, Czech Republic, on an OKTAGON.tv broadcast. The win gave Muradov the OKTAGON light heavyweight title and handed Fleury his first loss inside the promotion.

Fleury Started Well Before The Finish
The first round was not a one-way fight. Fleury used the fence, dragged Muradov down, and controlled enough position to bank early momentum. Muradov still found the counter right hand late in the round, and that same shot decided the title fight seconds after the restart.
The promotion described it directly in its event recap: Muradov came into Round 2 fast, landed another brutal punch, and finished with ground strikes while Fleury was badly shaken.
Muradov’s official result moved him to 30-8 and kept him unbeaten since joining OKTAGON. Fleury dropped to 17-4, snapping a six-fight winning streak that included wins over Kasim Aras, Martin Buday, and Karlos Vemola.
Fleury Gave Muradov Credit
Fleury did not push an excuse after the stoppage. His first reaction was respect for Muradov’s poise and natural ability.

Then Fleury pointed at his own mistake in the opening moments of the second round.
But I felt like I was going to break that f—ker at the start of the second round
I showed a lack of experience. I’m going to go away and work on that, correct that mistake, come back and take that Light Heavyweight title.
What Changed At OKTAGON 92
Fleury entered as OKTAGON’s light heavyweight champion and had also taken the heavyweight belt during his unbeaten run with the promotion. Muradov came in as the former UFC middleweight who had rebuilt his career in OKTAGON and stepped into the light heavyweight title fight on short notice.
The result flipped both tracks. Muradov now owns OKTAGON gold at 205 pounds after extending his promotional start to 6-0. Fleury leaves Prague with the first OKTAGON loss of his career and a direct rematch argument only if the promotion wants to run back a title fight that ended fast but came after a competitive first round.
Fleury had already raised his OKTAGON profile with his quick finish of Martin Buday, then knocked out Kasim Aras at OKTAGON 90. Muradov has his own UFC history, including a knockout win over Andrew Sanchez at UFC 257.
