Magomed Magomedov took on Enrique Barzola in the Bellator Bantamweight Grand Prix Tournament this past Friday at Bellator 282.

Round 1
Magomedov opens with a body kick. He goes for a takedown and eats an uppercut. Magomedov connects with a spinning backfist. Both fighters in close range and trading short punches. Barzola gets a takedown. Magomedov manages to get back on his feet but succumbs to another takedown. Magomedov now lands a slamming takedown but Barzola recovers quick. He lands a big right hand followed by a right knee. A left hook by Barzola. Magomedov has clipped Barzola with a left and Barzola shoots for a takedown and gets his opponent’s back.
Round 2
Barzola opens with a leg kick. Magomedov fires back a left hand. Barzola is against the cage defending a takedown. Magomedov lands a right hand. Good pressure here by Barzola who manages to get Magomedov’s back. Magomedov getting back to his feet. Barzola gets his back again. Both men get back up and Barzola goes for a takedown again. Magomedov connects with a spinning back kick. Barzola connects with a left and gets hit with a spinning back fist. Magomedov lands a lead left and Barzola fires right back with a left hook.
Round 3
Magomedov opens the round with a flurry of strikes. A takedown attempt by Magomedov. Barzola reverses it and gets his back along the cage. Magomedov trying to get up. Counter right hit by Magomedov. Magomedov connects with another right before clipping Barzola with a lead jab. Leg kick by Magomedov. Magomedov measuring range and hitting short lefts. Magomedov’s head kick blocked by Barzola. Barcola lands a big uppercut. Magomedov working his range on the outside, goes in for a takedown but misses. Barzola gets close and continues his boxing work.
Round 4
Magomedov with an inside kick to the body. Barzola with a front kick. Barzola pushes Magomedov against the cage and keeps him there. Both men up close before Magomedov frees himself. A spinning head kick miss by Magomedov. Right hand lands for Barzola. Barzola goes for a takedown and Magomedov jumping in for a guillotine. Barzola has tapped.
