Mackenzie Dern continues to work on her hands as she keeps developing into a complete mixed martial artist.
It is very well known that Dern has elite jiu-jitsu, and you could make a case she has the best ground game of all the female fights in the UFC. Since teaming up with Jason Parillo, Dern has been very hard on her boxing.
The 29-year-old decided to join Parillo in 2020 and has looked very good ever since, only losing to Marina Rodriguez – something that Dern said was a big learning experience.
On Monday, Dern shared a POV video of her working on her boxing with her coach.
“The little details that make a big difference. What goes into the day to day training and learning,” Dern wrote
Dern is coming off a hard-fought decision win over Tecia Torres at UFC 273 in April to get her back in the win column. Prior to that, she lost a unanimous decision to Rodriguez in her first UFC main event.
She doesn’t have a fight on the books yet but expects an announcement sooner rather than later.
