Lyoto Machida cleanly KOs Mark Munoz with an exquisite head kick at UFC Fight Night 30

What a bizarre time to have a UFC event on a Saturday? Granted, it was the ‘normal’ time in the UK, but if you guys didn’t tweet me this morning regarding the card, I would have missed every prelim fight for UFC Fight Night 30.

So this is what happens when friends let friends fight each other. Mark Munoz threw three strikes, none of them landed. Machida threw ten strikes, five of them landing, including this remarkable head kick KO.

Also notice that there was absolutely no follow-up punches. That’s called restraint, Rousimar Palhares. Say it with me ‘restraint.‘ I’m not sure what the Portuguese equivalent to that would be, but let that be the first English word you learn.
