Luke Rockhold Says He Was About To ‘Pull A Diaz Brother’ On Brock Lesnar During UFC 226 Melee

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold Nearly Put His Hands On Brock Lesnar At UFC 226

Daniel Cormier made history at UFC 226 when he knocked out Stipe Miocic to become the second fighter in the promotion’s history to hold titles in two divisions. But Cormier almost got into another fight immediately after winning the contest.

‘DC’ called out WWE star Brock Lesnar in the octagon for his next fight, the former heavyweight champion showed up and stormed into the octagon and violently shoved Cormier.

Also was inside the Octagon, Daniel Cormier’s longtime American Kickboxing Academy teammate and friend Luke Rockhold.

I was trying to judge Brock,” Rockhold said. “Brock was coming in hot and pushing ‘DC’ but ‘DC’ kept his composure and he was trying to laugh it off, so… I was trying to judge the situation because I was about to pull a Diaz brother and jump on his back and kick Brock in the head.”

It’s no secret that Diaz brothers never shy away from getting involved in a public scuffle outside the parameters of their professional work.

As far when Rockhold makes an Octagon return is still in the air, as last month, he suffered a grotesque shin injury and currently nursing that leg. Also, he’s preparing to make a move to a light heavyweight division where is the field is wide open. His friend DC has the plan to hang his gloves for good by March of 2019, so why not Luke take over that spot then.
