Luke Rockhold defeats Tim Kennedy to retain his middleweight strap

Two dudes with comb-overs just battled it out for twenty five minutes for the Strikeforce middleweight strap, and when the judges handed in their scorecards, Luke Rockhold stood victorious over our resident chef, Tim Kennedy. In a fight that was back and forth with multiple threatened finishes, neither guy could really turn the corner on the other, and in the end it almost looked like they could go another five rounds. Bummer for Tim Kennedy, no matter what he threw at Luke Rockhold, the champ slipped and countered and AKA reigned victorious over Jackson’s MMA. Now the door is open for Roger Gracie or Lorenz Larkin. I’m down to see either fight.

Take a look at the scorecards, on EA MMA or UFC 3, Tim Kennedy has a case for the win. Luke Rockhold definitely won, but on paper, I’ve seen stranger decisions in RL (real life) and in games.
