Logan Paul spoke about his epic encounter with Conor McGregor at Donald Trump’s inauguration and his thoughts on Bryce Mitchell’s controversial comments about Adolf Hitler.

Logan was just laughing at Conor

In an unexpected turn of events, Paul and McGregor crossed paths at Trump’s inauguration. Though the pair have feuded in the past, Paul said he and “Notorious” managed to behave appropriately for the occasion.

Reflecting on the experience, Paul concluded that drugs may have already affected McGregor permanently. For Paul, the Irish MMA superstar looked sober but the long-term effects of drugs was very evident.

“We all came to the conclusion that this is a bigger mission at play here, Donald Trump’s inauguration, let’s behave as best as we can. Just for today we’re going to sign as much of a peace treaty as we can. McGregor was very respectful, I mean, very cracked out, the guy’s got issues. He’s got issues. He’s so entertaining but he has so much energy at 7:30 a.m. … He’s permanently wired… He looked sober at that time, it confused all of us,” Paul recalled in his Impaulsive podcast.

“I will say, I watched back that footage of Conor talking shit to us,” he added. “He said he’s going to slap me, Jake and KSI and then you can see me and Jake like belly laugh. We’re fully laughing at what used to be one of the scariest, baddest men on the planet. As a person who used to be like, a big fan of Conor McGregor, like back in the day he pioneered crossover boxing, all of that stuff, I watched it back and I actually felt sad.”

“I was like this is a statement that at one point would have actually made us feel fear and now two YouTubers are laughing at this washed up, cracked out fighter, who’s unhinged and there’s no truth in what he’s saying,” he continued. “He’s not working anything cause he’s not working, he’s not doing anything except drugs.”

Logan’s idea of punishing Bryce

Paul also talked about Mitchell’s situation in his podcast. It can be recalled that “Thug Nasty” is under-fire for describing Adolf Hitler as “a good guy.” UFC president Dana White was livid about it and Paul came up with an interesting idea of how to fairly punish Mitchell.

According to Paul, “Thug Nasty” should be booked against Ilia Topuria with his UFC career at stake.

“For me personally, he is who he is. People are paying attention to him only because the UFC has platformed him and has given him this this stage to perform and he has, you know, has an audience. So now if you’re making that organization look idiotic or degrading the entire organization because it’s not fighter Bryce Mitchell, it’s UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell. In my head I could see a world where there’s some recourse there. Personally, I wouldn’t remove him,” Paul remarked.

“I got a punishment. think it’s great. I think I have it because some people might not like the idea of a fine it kind of maybe goes against the free speech angle, which I respect. You make him fight Ilia Topuria,” he suggested. “You make him fight someone who he is gonna get murdered by and say If you lose, you’re gone. you give him a chance, but he just gets f**king killed and then you cut him off.”

As it stands, Paul and McGregor are unlikely to fight anytime soon. As for Mitchell, it is yet to be known what lies ahead of him following the backlash of his controversial remarks.
