Liverkick and Phuket Top Team present- 8 Limbs: Life of a Nak Muay Part 1

[div class=”notice” class2=”icon”]The following is from an article on LiverKick.com, part of the MiddleEasy Network.[/div]

I’m very pleased to present this first installment of a series called “8 Limbs: Life of a Nak Muay” which is a production done in conjunction with Phuket Top Team. This series is meant to show what a nak muay (fighter) goes through on a daily basis to pursue their passion for fighting and just how grueling and unforgiving it can be. Look for some of the subtle nuances in this first part of the series, such as the contrasts between the serenity of training in beautiful Phuket, Thailand right by the ocean to the grueling training and how the surrounding areas are not as wealthy as a lot of the first world is.

It is quite simply a different world with a different values system. This time around we are following 13 year old Yoduman who is just beginning his journey as well as Kru Lucky, who has a wealth of experience, but is still putting in insane amounts of work. Of course, you can also see the fantastic facilities offered by Phuket Top Team, as well as their great crew. It is crazy to think that I remember talking to Boyd when this was just a “what if” and then when the gym was in its infancy.
