Let’s take a look at some of the stat changes in UFC 3

The roster of UFC 3 is adapting and changing based on the outcome of recent UFC events, and 5 weeks after launch (it feels like it’s been out forever) the first major stat-update patch has been released. Because this affects so many of us on a day to day basis and on a personal level, we have compiled some of the most interesting and notable changes from the very long list on UFC’s official post. Let’s see what we have here.

  • Quinton Jackson –Strength down 3 points to 83, Takedown Defense down 3 points to 82, Submission Defense down 2 points to 79
  • Brock Lesnar – Standing Kick Defense down 2 points to 68, Clinch Strike Defense down 3 points to 73
  • Michael Bisping – Strength up 2 points to 78, Takedown Defense up 2 points to 80
  • Lyoto Machida – Standing Strikes Offense up 2 points to 82, Submission Defense down 3 points to 82
  • Tito Ortiz – Strength down 2 points to 78, Clinch Strike Defense down 2 points to 70, Ground Strike Defense down 3 points to 70
  • Jon Jones – Standing Strike Defense down 2 points to 86
  • Melvin Guillard – Standing Strike Offense up 1 point to 85, Submission Defense down 3 points to 68

THQ is planning their next stat update for sometime in late April after UFC 145. Interesting stuff. You can read the full post here. Mark Hunt’s 99’s across the board except for a 83 in submission defense (he’s gotten better) are glaringly absent.
