NetherRealm Studios should’ve been on the phone with MiddleEasy.com’s lawyers/publicists/managers and other, fairly useless sacks of meat and had us delve into the extremely rawesome scenarios brought to life in their upcoming follow-up to Mortal Kombat — injustice — because we could’ve give them pages upon pages of hypothetical superhero fight breakdowns. We don’t even need to get paid, just send us copies of this game, because it looks amazing, and the Mortal Kombat reboot was great aside from the super-crappy servers that plagued the launch. There have already been MiddleEasy office huddles about April 16th, and what we’re going to do when we are exclusively playing Injustice and not updating the site, so this breakdown seems completely relevant to our interests.
We must admit, Bas seems to have a seriously cogent argument for Green Lantern over Superman (AKA the most overrated superhero of all time); why not just make some kryptonite? The man opposite Bas, named Jon Huertas, who is an actor and a castle (how can a man be a castle? Is his occupation a metaphor?) doesn’t seem to think Green Lantern has a leg to stand on, even though he could just make a leg if he needed one…
Clearly Jon hasn’t read this issue of DC Comics Presents.
