Dicaprio Had A Close Call At October’s UFC 229 PPV Event, Hollywood Actor Told Khabib
It’s well known now that this past October Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted Conor Mcgregor in the fourth round at UFC 229 immediately after ‘Eagle’ leaped over the cage to attack Irishman’s Jiu-Jitsu coach Dillon Danis that ensued riots inside and outside the Octagon. Of course, Nurmagomedov’s victory marred by this incident.
As soon UFC lightweight champion landed both started a brawl, but guess what during the process Khabib nearly hit on Hollywood actor Leonardo Dicaprio who was sitting few inches away from the Octagon when shit happened.
“He told me, ‘I was sitting 5 meters away [when you jumped the cage at UFC 229], you nearly landed on me!'” Khabib Nurmagomedov said during his recent interview with Match TV ( h/t Business Insider)
Well, that could be a reason Khabib handed down with a hefty fine and nine months of suspension which could be reduced to six if he completes a PSA program, Conor Mcgregor meanwhile received six months of suspension with $50k fine.
Khabib also said he met with the actor in Paris, where both dined out.
“It was interesting for me how he would sit there [amid so many people],” Nurmagomedov said.
“He’s a regular guy, but it was surprising to me when people came up to him for a photo, he said ‘I don’t take photos.’ I asked why, and he said it’s not possible to make everyone happy.
“He said he only takes photos with kids … with everyone else; it’s not possible. That surprised me, but in general, he’s a regular guy.”
What would have had happened if Khabib landed on Actor?
