Diego Sanchez vs. Kevin Lee is almost upon us.

The former UFC fighters will meet in the main event of Eagle FC 46 on Friday. It will be their first post-UFC appearance. Before they hit each other in the cage, they would hit the scales on Thursday morning.

A New Weight Division

The weight cut wouldn’t be too tough for Lee or Sanchez. Luckily for them, they didn’t have to cut to lightweight.  Instead, they’d test out a new weight class altogether: super lightweight. No more drastic cuts to 155lbs or being small for 170lbs. The new weight class would be at 165lbs.

Round of applause for Khabib Nurmagomedov, for making this happen in his promotion.

Sanchez Weighs In

‘Nightmare’ would be first to weigh in. He walked up to the scale, using a towel. The sweaty Sanchez was bit worried about his weight beforehand, but he’d have nothing to worry about… he would make weight at 163.2lbs.  It was only 2lbs under 165, which is more than acceptable.

Lee Weighs In

Lee would also follow through on the contracted weight. ‘The Motown Phenom’ entered his new weight class at 165.8lbs. It was rather easy this time, considering his past weight misses at lightweight. It looks Lee has found his new home at 165, a weight class he always wanted the UFC to have.

The on-weight warriors will collide at ‘Eagle FC 46: All Or Nothing’ on Friday. You can watch the headliner for free on the FLXCast app or on EagleFC.com, which streams live at 6pm ET.
