Kurt Angle is probably horrible with geometry. Unlike all of you wrestling fanatics, I know nothing about Kurt Angle aside from the fact that he tried to date Robin Quivers from The Howard Stern Show. While you were out watching men fake wrestle, I was busy building my shrine to Ernesto Hoost back in the 90s. The truth is, my foray into the wrestling world stopped when I realized Papa Shango didn’t have magical powers. I could no longer buy into the illusion of staged drama — well, if it doesn’t involve fighters living in a house and urinating in someone’s fruit.
In an interview with MMAJunkie, Dana White clarified that Kurt Angle wasn’t offered a PPV fight against Kimbo Slice, but that he was offered a slot on The Ultimate Fighter: Season 10, but couldn’t participate due to failed medicals.
“What I offered him was, I said, ‘Come over here. I’ll put you on ‘The Ultimate Fighter,”” White said. “The season Kimbo Slice was on, I was going to put him on ‘The Ultimate Fighter.’ He wanted to do it.
“We worked out a deal, but he didn’t pass the medicals.”
Although as you already know, in an parallel universe, Kurt Angle passed his medicals and lived in the TUF 10 household with Kimbo Slice, Big Baby, Meathead and Big Country. Ah, those were the days. TUF 10 is still undeniably the greatest season since TUF premiered back in 2005. However to be fair, I haven’t seen a single episode of this current season. [Source]
