Chan Sung Jung, known as “The Korean Zombie” clashed with Yair Rodriguez in the main headliner of UFC Fight Night 139 this past weekend from Denver Colorado.

Rodriguez and Jung’s epic five-round featherweight affair was hailed as one of the best in the UFC history. ‘Korean Zombie’ had won the first three rounds which had produced twenty minutes of heart-pounding action.

By the fifth and final round, Jung was on his way to get a unanimous decision victory, but that unbelievable thing happened. From out of nowhere, Yair Rodriguez was able to catch ‘Korean Zombie’ and landed the most stunning no-look elbow that sent Jung crashing face first into the canvas to score an epic knockout win with just one second remaining.

Following his KO loss, ‘Korean Zombie’ shared a heartfelt photo of him and Yair Rodriguez where both featherweights showed mutual respect to each other by holding hands while lying next to each other in a Denver hospital.

“My pride is really bad .. I sell a lot .. Haha .. Still .. I love mixed martial arts and I always express my congratulations to my young friend who is always polite. This match should be so satisfying. It’s really ok now! Thanks everyone!” – The Korean Zombie

After the win, Rodriguez’s back into the winning column, before entering this contest ‘Pantera’ last fought back in of May 2017 where he lost the bout to Frankie Edgar. Meanwhile “The Korean Zombie,” lost his first fight since a February 2017 KO win over Dennis Bermudez.
