Muslim Salikhov, at 40 years old, faced Song Kenan in an exciting fight in Macau, China. The match had a lot of action, with one fighter needing to be carried out on a stretcher.

Salikhov amazed everyone by landing a powerful spinning kick to his opponent’s jaw halfway through the first round. After a few more punches, the fight ended quickly. The crowd was quiet because they didn’t expect it, but Salikhov is so skilled with this move that it almost seemed normal to him.

Muslim Salikhov Known for His Incredible Spinning Kicks

Muslim Salikhov started showing off his amazing spinning kicks back in 2016 when he knocked out two people with them in a row.

By the time he had won 11 out of 12 fights, three of those wins were thanks to his special spinning kicks. American fans first saw how cool his kicks were when he knocked out Melvin Guillard in 2017, and Dana White was so impressed that he gave Salikhov a chance in the UFC.

Now, after 12 UFC fights, Salikhov has an 8-4 record. He made history by becoming the first fighter to land two spinning kick knockouts in the UFC, bringing his total to six! In November 2022, he knocked out André Fialho with another one. Even two years later, his opponents still can’t escape his favorite spinning kicks.

“I always have his kick in my pocket,” Salikhov said.

“But I never expected that I’d finish this fight with something like that.

“This is my favorite kick. I did it for many years. All of China knows it’s one of my best kicks.

“That’s beautiful. I’m very happy to get a win like that.”

Even though he’s in his forties, Muslim Salikhov thinks he still has a lot of fight left in him. He’s been fighting in big matches for years, facing off with the best fighters in the 170lb weight class. He wants to keep fighting for a long time and show everyone what he can do.

Salikhov continued: “You know, I’m just beginning. I’m just understanding what is going on here.

“Let’s do it. More, better fights. I want more fights. I’m ready and I train hard.

“I’m still good. So, UFC… “
