King Green is ready for the ridicule.
After talking a lot of trash about his UFC 304 opponent Paddy Pimblett, Green was forced to eat a big slice of humble pie after the Liverpudlian put him to sleep in the opening round with a slick triangle choke.

Following the loss, Green took to social media more than ready to own up to the loss and take his licks from a very vocal MMA fan base.
“What a day. Thank you guys for checking in on me. I’m OK, I guess. Sh*t happens,” Green said in a video on his Instagram Stories. “I felt like I slipped into some sh*t and it all just went the perfect way. I had a bad night. No excuses. Sh*t happens. I live by a code: Kill or be killed. Today, I got killed. Let the ridicule begin. I know what comes with this. You guys can talk your sh*t. I know what comes with this. Let’s go.”

With the loss to Pimblett, Green fell to 13-11-1 inside the Octagon and has now come up short in two of his last three outings.
Paddy Pimblett Eyes Top 10 Fight Following Win Over King Green
Pimblett is expected to take Green’s spot in the lightweight rankings and slide into the No. 15 spot, but ‘The Baddy’ already has his sights set on a spot in the top 10. Following his first-round finish in Manchester, Pimblett called for a clash with No. 10 ranked contender Renato Moicano.
“I have a name that everybody wants me to fight, Renato ‘Moicano,’” Pimblett said. “Hopefully he gets through [Benoit Saint-Denis]. We’ll see if we can set it up before the end of the year or in the new year.”
A winner in his last three fights, ‘Money’ Moicano will meet Saint-Denis at UFC Paris on Saturday, September 28.
